Last month, RAY BLK unveiled her latest body of work Access Denied, which contained 14 tracks and additional features from Kojey Radical, Giggs, Kaash Paige, Suburban Plaza, and Stefflon Don, the last of whom appears on the closing standout “Over You.” Produced by Rymez and Fred Ball, the track sees the two artists looking to party the night away in order to get over a toxic, disloyal lover:

“All cried out, ain’t got nothin’ left, stuck with the memories all in my head, hurts so bad, but I gotta get over you, over you, took you back, that was my mistake, if you’re a player then you’ll never change, same old shit, now I know what I gotta do, gotta do, said, ‘No, no, no, no, not ramping tonight,’ six-inch heels and dress fit me tight, grab ah man and then dutty whine, you won’t see me cry…”

The Labi-directed video sees RAY BLK and Stefflon do just that — let loose in a packed rave full of beautiful people, who can be seen grinding amongst each other and breaking out into synchronized dance moves. The only thing missing would be a cameo appearance from dancehall legend Beenie Man, who appeared on a remix of “Over You” back in September.

Access Denied follows 2018’s Empress, a critically acclaimed eight-song effort that served as RAY BLK’s first official release under Island Records. Prior to that, she made huge waves with 2016’s Durt, which featured standout tracks alongside peers Stormzy, Wretch 32, and SG Lewis. Meanwhile, it’s been a few years since Stefflon blessed us with her sophomore mixtape Secure. She did more recently liberate dope cuts like “Move,” “Can’t Let You Go,” and “Dip” with Ms Banks.
